RAISE - Action Needed on House Resolution 298
The National Epilepsy Foundation has asked for everyone's assistance in getting the RAISE (Raising Insight and Awareness and Insight on Seizures and Epilepsy) Resolution passed. The RAISE Resolution was created to promote greater awareness and understanding about epilepsy among government agensies and bodies that come into contact with the nearly 3 million people in this country living with this disorder.
The Resolution asked for no additional money, just greater effort by the federal government to coordinate the use of epilepsy awareness and educational programs that already exist.
