Information and Referral Services


Abilities Network and the Epilepsy Foundation of the Chesapeake Region provides information and referral for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The program can assist individuals in learning more about specific disabilities and in locating financial assistance programs, support groups, and community based resources.

In Central Maryland, our information and referral service can help you find community resources including: respite providers and respite funding, adaptive equipment, assistive technology, transportation, social and recreational activities, insurance, medication assistance, employment, money management, benefits, and more.  [Some callers may qualify for one time case management to help them make the necessary connections.]

Through our Epilepsy Services program we have an extensive library and can provide specific information about epilepsy as well as access to support groups and mentors.
