Project ACT (All Children Together) provides child care centers, Head Start programs, family care providers and preschool to elementary school classrooms with support in fostering school success and healthy development for all children.
These services are available free of charge and as fee for service depending on grant funding:
-Training and Technical Assistance
Project ACT provides an opportunity for child care professionals and parents across the state to receive training and mentoring from each of the Core of Knowledge domains. All trainings provide information and strategies for including all children in child care settings, particularly those children with special needs. Technical Assistance (TA) is a follow up to a training that participants receive from Project ACT. Participants are given the opportunity to receive additional information or assistance related to the training topic.
-Technical Assistance for Inclusive Practices Resource Room (T.A.I.P.) offers an on-site resource for child care teachers, related professionals and families the opportunity to be able to create visual supports, ask questions and receive specific feedback from qualified early childhood professionals.

Project ACT receives funding through a variety of grants including the Maryland State Department of Education – Office of Child Care (OCC) and private donors.
Project ACT provides training and consultative services throughout the state of Maryland.
