About Our Program

What is the Support Services program?

Support Services is a family-centered program that focuses on the needs and preferences of adults and families of a child with a disability. The program is designed to assist individuals with a disability, as well as their families and caregivers.

What are some services that the program offers?

Support Services offers services in areas such as financial assistance, support, networking and community based resources.

What are some Community Based Resources that Support Services helps individuals with disabilities and their families find?

Some examples of resources Support Services help people find are short-term case management, respite and childcare, adaptive equipment assistive technology, transportation, social and recreational activities, Home Health Care, Insurance and HMO support, accessibility modifications and help with any special diet needs.

Who is eligible to receive Support Services?

Anyone with a developmental disability who resides in our service areas and who do not receive ongoing funding from the Developmental Disabilities Administration is eligible to receive Support Services through Abilities Network.
